Ali Alghanin & Sons has expanded to the food and beverage sector, investing in local concepts that are developed with passion to satisfy local palettes and stand out in this rich and vibrant sector.

Over the past decade, Kuwait has seen a burst in its culinary scene with the launch of hundreds of local and international restaurants and cafés. The scene has without a doubt been led by a younger and eager generation which is introducing unique and very successful concepts that cover cuisines from around the world.

In its portfolio, Ali Alghanin & Sons prides the success of the Asian foods restaurant, Wokdojo, and the very successful desert destination, Chocomelt, and the modern spice bistro, Farzi Cafe.

WokDojo

Taking inspiration for its name from “Dojo”, the Japanese term that is commonly used to refer to a temple of practice where one finds enlightenment, Wokdojo is meant to represent the concept of the temple of wok.

Wokdojo serves food enthusiasts a selection of the best Asian foods. Located in two prime locations in Kuwait, Wokdojo is also a favourite food to order from.

Chocomelt

Born from the passion for food, in particular chocolate, Chocomelt is the fastest-growing dessert destination in Kuwait thanks to its signature dishes that have been enjoyed by thousands of customers every month and adorned social media pages.

Having started with one branch in 2016, Chocomelt has grown to four branches in prime locations in Kuwait, three in the UAE and one in Bahrain. The success of the brand is driving further expansions planned in Saudi, Qatar and Oman.

Constantly developing its offering, Chocomelt most recently introduced its speciality coffee, MOG, offered in drinks or coffee beans exclusively at Chocomelt.

Farzi Café

In 2020, the Group introduced Farzi Café, offering a gourmet Indian cuisine experience. With so many restaurants offering Indian cuisine, a local favourite in Kuwait, Farzi stands as it amalgamates traditional global and Indian classics, with Indian influences, contemporary presentations, culinary styles and ambience.

It is a quirky, chic, modern Indian café, where guests enjoy a sensory experience through the finest modern Indian cuisine, with a high energy ambiance. Infusing a generous dose of Indian flavours, Farzi Café presents Indian cuisine where culinary art meets the alchemy of modern presentations and cooking techniques like molecular gastronomy to absorb the guest into the ultimate gastronomic illusion.
