Mr. Ali Alghanim, the founder of the company, established his business activities in early 1960, and was operating under the Ali Alghanim General Trading & Contracting Establishment. The trading activities were looked after by the Trading Division. Due to the expansion of the business and market needs, in January 1994 the Trading Division separated from the Establishment. A General Trading Company was founded to conduct the Trading Business Activities. Ali Alghanim & Sons General Trading Company (AAS) is a member of Ali Alghanim & Sons Group. The aim of this subsidiary is to provide exclusive and specialized services to the customers in the field of Household and Electronic Appliances, Water Pump Systems, and Heavy Construction Equipment. This subsidiary represents a large number of major international manufacturers on an exclusive basis. AAS provide its services to the government sector or companies and the commercial sector through its sales department and engineering department. AAS also conducts its trading activities of House & Electronic Appliances through four showrooms in the prestigious Districts of Kuwait.
